AFTER THE RACE: AMGEN TOUR RECAP

The streets are quiet this week compared to last Friday, when an estimated 10,000 people jammed into the valley to watch an elite group of professional cyclists give their all in a timed race.

VIEWING PACKAGES for the visitors ultimate Time Trial experience.  With the Golden Jersey Package, you begin the day at the Starting Gate VIP Tent, right at the starting line, with local tasty treats to start your morning off as you see the riders leave the chute at 1 minute intervals. You then head 1 block over to the VIP Hospitality Tent, on the finish line, with live television race feed. There you receive local wine and fine foods prepared by the Tour's own caterer. Enjoy the Lifestyle Festival and charm of Solvang, the Danish Capital of America. 

The Green Jersey Package includes Starting Gate passes ATOC Solvang pin and raffle tickets. This promises to be a spectacular stage of the AMGEN Tour of California. We hope you plan ahead to join us, as there are a limited number of these packages available.

Gala Tickets

Great opportunity to attend the final event after the Time Trial. Join other cycling enthusiasts for an evening of wine tasting by Andrew Murray Vineyards, a gourmet dinner, dancing to live music, and live and silent auction. Guest speaker, Dave Shields, author of cycling novels THE RACE, THE TOUR and TOUR DE LIFE, biography of Saul Raisin.

Proceeds from this event will help defray expenses of the Local Organizing Committee for hosting the Amgen Tour of California Stage 5 Time Trial. Limited seating available.

Just announced, BOB ROLL will be a guest at the Gala, just as soon as he gets his stories posted.  Last year Bobke auctioned the shirt off his back. It was a night to remember.  Hope you can join us.
